In my recordings for the LIEBERLIEBEN podcast, I realise once again, as I have in my couples coaching and couples therapy sessions, how difficult it is for us humans to talk about sex; couples like to talk about everything that is beautiful, today Herb said in conversation when it came to the topic of sex \u201eah, I thought we had successfully circumnavigated that\u201c....no! We don't want to get round it... But how difficult it is for so many people to share what the other person doesn't like to hear... For example, \u201eif this doesn't go away, I've had enough at some point\u201c, a client recently said \u201eI actually want to have sex with others sometimes but I don't say it\u201c, a woman recently said in a couple's session \u201eI can't imagine how we could ever resolve the issue of sex\u201c. I am very touched by how painful this is for many people and whenever a couple tells me that something has been resolved after a trauma-sensitive couple's session and that sex is \u201eworking again\u201c or has even become \u201creally great\u201c, I am happy with my couples!
